Sim not recognized error message

So, on my lock screen, I get a sim not recognized, contact provider error message, but once I unlock, I seem no error message and can make calls and data works fine. Back to lock screen, and same message again. Anyone else have this problem?

Have you rebooted? What happens if you receive a text or call while your phone is locked?

I got the same message about a week ago when I got off the plane in Orlando. I just rebooted and I never saw it again.
