The best and most convenient place to put my phone in my car is on the wireless charging pad, but since Android Auto isn't wireless, I still plug my phone in with a cable. I've noticed that when it's on the pad, it's indicating wireless charging, even though I'm assuming the cable would provide more efficient charging.
Does anybody know in this circumstance if it is routed through wireless only, or shared? I'm hoping there's some sort of software control in place to prevent both being active and possible overheating.
