Sketchbook for Galaxy

I got a Note 5 about a week ago, and one of the first apps I downloaded was Sketchbook for Galaxy. I had this app as a "Samsung gift" on my Note 3 as well. Anyway, my wife picked up her Note 5 yesterday, and now I can't find that app in Galaxy Apps. I searched for Sketchbook in both Galaxy Apps and Play store, and all that shows up is the free version with less features. It looks as though the paid pro version has also disappeared.

My wife and I used this app a lot (she would hijack my Note 3 to use it) and I'm disappointed that I can't find it for her phone. Anyone know anything about this?

Sketchbook Pro and Sketchbook Mobile are both showing up for me. When you go to the Playstore and go to your apps, tap ALL at the top. This will show all apps you have purchased or installed. Hope this helps

Hi,

I'm having the same problem as you do, and I can't find the Sketchbook For Galaxy app it's really frustrating !!
If you could do a backup of it the way pool_shark told it, and upload the apk, i'd appreciate a lot.

Also Franko and Timmy don't seems to uderstand that there should be (at least) 3 app listed when you are using a Note 5 :

The free : Sketchbook
The pro : Sketchbook Pro
The Galaxy one : Sketchbook For Galaxy.

I'm only having the free one available, and i talked to a Samsung tech and he didn't know what to do either.

Thierry, i fully understood what he wrote and offered a solution. In a regular Playstore search Sketchbook Pro wont come up because they no longer sell the app. If you purchased the app or downloaded it before though (the latter is the OP) it will still be in the ALL (see screenshot) app section. So while everyone else sees only the free version I see

Sketchbook Pro (which I purchased)
Sketchbook Mobile (which I purchased)
Sketchbook Draw and Paint (free)

I have never downloaded the Galaxy version therefore it wont show it my ALL app section

I never purchased Sketchbook Pro because it was the same thing as Sketchbook for Samsung, which was available for free through Galaxy Apps. I tried this method through Galaxy Apps, but it is not listed.

Go to the Playstore, not galaxy apps. Menu > My Apps > All

There you should see all apps you have installed before (be it from samsung store or google store).

I thought it would for sure. All apps I have ever installed show in the ALL tab, even the ones from Amazon.

Glad you were able to get it back and working.

Update - The apps from the Samsung Store don't show up in my Playstore list to be updated. After I searched in the Playstore for those Samsung apps they indeed showed up and needing to be updated (even though they weren't in the update list). After I then updated them through the Playstore they showed up in my list. So from this I gather it doesn't matter where you install from, if you update those apps on the Playstore they remain in your list. I'm guessing you only ever updated it through the Samsung Store.

Again glad you were able to get everything going

I'm sure that method would work if the app was available in Play Store. The problem in this situation is that the app was removed from both Play Store and Samsung App Store.

It seems to be back in the Galaxy apps store

Sketchbook is free now
There is a single app on playstore for sketchook (no sketchbook pro)

You have to buy a subscription within the app for full options which cost around $5

The subscription is on your sketchbook account and it works for pc version too
No need to buy another subscription for pc version

Sketchbook for galaxy is available in galaxy apps only...
