Skype available!!!

It's very faint, walk into a dark room and check again. When I force close it, it goes away, but while running its back.

You are correct I went for a walk and happened to look at my phone and saw a faint red led where the notification light is looked at my phone and realized Skype was running. Turned off Skype and it went away. Mine was just solid not blinking.

im not having any issues. Runs perfect. Quality could be better but then again i wouldn't expect HD quality talking to my mother an entire state away.

had a weird bug after I closed the app the 4th time I used it. it enabled the proximity sensor after i logged off. so when it was sitting at my desk idle charging on the kickstand and i would reach for it the screen would come on and then go off. same thing when I would take my hand away. just did a quick reboot and it was fixed. just kind of weird.

After a few battery pulls, Skype with video works great. Called my brother from my car and it sounded like I was right there with him, video was solid.

Battery pull, and still a rapid red led notification light while signed in. As soon as I sign out it goes away until I sign back in.

I too can confirm that little "red" light being on... it's to the right of the orange/green led when the phone is being charged.. I noticed it too after installing skype.. but once i signout the light goes out... i'm curious as to whether or not it uses another radio signal along with the 3g/4g/or wifi?

just don't have it load and signed in automatically and it won't be there... until you sign in manually and start the app, then it's there.

Tbolt to tbolt a few rooms away. Problem seemed that the call initiator is the only one that could have speaker on. The other phone was coming from the earpiece and VERY low. Even if you set speaker to "on" on that phone it made no difference....

Initiated a call from that phone and it worked fine but then the other phone was screwed up. Not sure.

I had same problem when i recieved a skype call from a friend of mine at first... he heard me, but i couldn't hear him... we disconnected then he called me.. i found that my call volume was low..and remembered that when i was first in the skype call it was only triggering my media volume.. once we hung up and i knew i had the incall volume up ... we skyped again and all was good... he was on wifi and i was on 3G and we were both impressed.. no complaints here.. by the way.. neither one of our phones were rooted...

oddly enough, after installing--my regular phone calls were being messed up.

i couldn't hear the dial tone, couldn't hear the other person & they couldn't hear me.

wonder if this is b/c Skype was running in the background (signed in, but not used for calling the person)

really looking forward to trying this out

Can this one be uninstalled if not working properly? I am asking because I read in the market place that once the skype LTE for verizon is installed it becomes bloatware and cannot be uninstalled.
