I have video enabled and everything, band have the latest version of skype and honeycomb, ut it just doesnt work. some people said to use google talk instead, but now that cant even be found on the market.

I love the transformer, but having too many problems with things that should be working.

Any help would be appreciated

Google Talk should already be installed on the Transformer.
In the app drawer its listed as Talk.
Skype working for me fine also

Skype works fine for me. I think I just installed it when they updated it to include a lot more devices.

Working for me also. v2.5.0.160. When I first installed, it mentioned something about untested device and did I want to enable video, I said yes. Works with no problems.

Do you guys have volume control while in a chat session? On my Xoom the volume is too quite, but when I adjust the volume with either buttons or through the settings, it doesn't affect Skype at all.

I also have been trying to get video chats to work forever. Each update I get my hopes up and then it doesn't work. What happens to me is the following.

1. Launch applicaiton
2. Choose contact to video chat with
3. While connecting camera turns on to initialize video.
4. As soon as the other person picks up the video turns off and i get a black screen.

I can continue to voice chat just fine but can't get video to work. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I've also tried setting video to both low and high quality but no dice.

This is probably a longshot but did you check the camera button to see if it is set for front camera, back camera or camera off if believe were the basic choices?

We've noticed where I work that our Android tablets (Toshiba Thrive and Acer Iconia Tab A500) can video chat with people on PCs, but have issues when trying to video chat tablet to tablet - including with iPads. We've also tried Tango and Fring. Fring seems to work best so far, but I quickly lose connection on my Acer with a resources exceeded (I think that was it) message.
