BigRick10, thanks for your assistance. I uninstalled Skype, reloaded it from the link. then went to the Market and all it says is that it's installed, nothing about an update. When I sign in, I get the same thing I had before. No video call. Any other suggestions that might help?

is there a way to disable the "android market update"? not a huge deal but it would be nice to be able to hit update all when I have 10 app updates

I can't figure it out. I thought maybe because it was showing my friends work number and not his cell number, that's why it wasn't working, but nope, that's not it either. Well, if anyone else has any suggestions on why we can't get the video call icon to pull up, let me know. BigRick10, I tried your new download and it didn't help. I really appreciate your help though.

So does this only work in landscape? I skyped with my Iphone 4 toting fiance last night and I could only go landscape view....was pretty sweet that I was able to slide the video box around that showed what she was seeing. Makes it nice to put it in one of the places that's not intrusive to what I am seeing from her.

Had the same issues with the video not working. She was on 3G and was on Wifi

Anyone have a problem with Google Goggles or Barcode scanner after installing this? May not have anything to do with it but I haven't installed anything since Skype and Goggles and scanner both freeze on the camera now.

I have those apps and I'm not having any issues. You can try uninstalling the apps and then reinstalling them. Reboot before opening and see if that helps.

It's not Skype. Removed Skype rebooted, reinstalled Goggles rebooted, same problem. Gonna reinstall Skype and find something else to read barcodes.

Installed this on my EVO 3D last night. Seems to work but when I make a video call, it shows my self-video and "Initializing Video" and just sits there. It doesn't crash as I can hit the red "End Call" button. Any ideas?

If you're on 3G it doesn't work well. Works great on 4G and of course WiFi.
