I've deleted the Skype app and I want to reinstall it, but after downloading, the installation pauses and it says that error 24 has occurred. I looked it up and found out I should delete the app remanants, But I can't find it in android/data or anywhere else.

According to a couple threads in this forum, the error is caused by left over files from a previous installation that cause problems with a new installation. Unfortunately, unless you are rooted, which gives you access to the system files, you can't get to the culprit files to delete them. If that's the case, you'll need to do a data factory reset, which deletes everything on your N7 and reverts it to its original, out of the box state. Obviously, it's best if you can somehow avoid a factory reset and the hassle of again customizing your N7 as you once had it.

Here are the threads from where I got this information. You might want to do further research to verify its accuracy.

Thank you for the comment. I am rooted, but I can't find the location of the app left overs.

One of the more specific solutions in one of those threads was this:

"I was getting this error also and tried the deletion of the problem apps in data/data/com.----------- and it worked great.
If you have Rom Toolbox it is easy to get to these system files - and because Rom Toolbox has Superuser permission you can delete the files with no problem."

Another respondent posted this:

"Installing the Rom Toolbox allowed me to see the data/data folder with the deviant codes that didn't allow me to re-install the program with out the error-24. Thanks for the info!"
