Any advantages and disadvantages? Currently running SkyRaider but am curious about Virtuous...Thanks

Virtuous is a pretty much just a rom of the official release with some subtle enhancements. Not a whole lot to it. Still like skyraider much better.

Personally, I absolutely love Virtuous. Good performance, very snappy, and Sense UI is admittedly still very useful.

It's going to take something extremely impressive to get me off this ROM.

Battery life on Virtual 2.4 + KingxKernel BFS #2 is pretty epic. On 2.5.2 I had pretty good battery life as well. On 3.0 it was horrible.

Since 3.0 struck me as the direction in which the ROM cooker was moving, I decided it was time to start looking for a new ROM.

Yeah I understand that! Virtuous is really good for what it is, reminds me of Skyraider before he changes gears. It has some nice enhancements and a lot of performance. Battery life is what you make it depending on what kernel you are running. I suggest BFS #2 like Mikestorm is using.

3.0 was horrible, however I didn't mind his Vanilla version of it, it was just as good if not better than 2.5.2 vanilla and he left out all his steampunk robots and all that other garbage.

I honestly can't believe I just ditched SkyRaider, but Virtuous really is THAT good. It's refreshing to just go back to the standard Sense layout, it feels great, performs like a champ, and both the battery life and charge time when paired with Hydra's ss/uv kernel are awesome. Simply put, this ROM is excellent.

I liked skyraider 2.5.2 but not liking the UI mods in 3.0. Seems a little slower than virtuous.

Installed 2.6 an hour ago. My quad score dipped to around 1150 (was at 1250) but the Gmail app issue and the twitter issue have both been fixed, as have the demon voice issue (haven't confirmed yet) so I'm very content with this build.

I've been up on 2.6 for about an hour too. Using his customization program, I was able to jettison quite a bit of junk.

So far, so good. The phone looks and feels like it did the day I got it, only a bit faster.

I'm running 1300 plus on Quadrant and about 36 on Linpack.

If it fixes the looping on the Sirius XM player, life will be good.

Might give Virtuous a shot tonight... my fiances car battery died yesterday night and now woke up to a flat tire on her car. Looks like i might need to blow off some steam and tinker with my phone.

Wait what?

Dead battery last night, flat tire (completely unrelated) today?

That stinks dude.

I was running Virtuous 2.6 and liking it well enough. I tried to flash KingxKlick BFS 2 kernel and got a flashing HTC boot screen. Had to do a nandroid restore for the first time.

Anyone else have trouble with flashing that kernel over V 2.6?

d.

Hah...yup. Luckily the store around the corner fixes flat tires for free. And yeah, had to buy a whole new battery. That sucked.

Just loaded Virtuous 2.6 and love how there is the stock feel to it. After a few weeks on SR Vanilla w/ LauncherPro, Sense just feels so much better for me.
