Why is the GearS2 version of S-Health different than the version on GearS? There is NO sleep option!!

I want to sleep with the watch on so I can wake up to silent alarm. So, while I can certainly live without sleep tracking, my wife and I cannot live with the fact that the watch lights up the room everytime I roll over.

If you pull down the window shade from the top, there is a Do not Disturb option that disables the screen, and I believe all notifications except alarms.

I need those notifications left on. I only want the screen off and I would love it if the new phone had the same functions ... aka sleep tracking ... as the old phone.

Try turning off the wake up gesture feature. That turns the screen on when tilting watch towards you. That's probably why it keeps turning on when you roll over.

Ok, so great, I was able to get 2 hours of sleep last night after navigating through sub-menus to turn off screen gesture. Unfortunately at 2 AM and again at 4 AM, I got this wonderful "BE MORE ACTIVE" notification from S Health which vibrated and lit the room up. My wife will flush this watch if this happens again.

I've looked and looked both on the Gear S2 and on my phone but I can't find a way to turn off these S Health notifications! Anyone?

It's in the S health settings on the S2 under Alerts. Go into s health on s2, and scroll to the right to get to Settings.

You can go into gear manager and turn off turn on screen when getting notifications
