Slickwraps Panda-fication

So I ordered the black XL as I always get a low-key color, but since have really started to like the panda/stormtrooper/Oreo look. With how long that variation would take to get at this point, and with mine due in by The end of the week, no way I'm making the change.

But I googled "panda skin." And then, realizing that I wasn't seeing quite what I was looking for, and really grateful I wasn't seeing what I probably should have expected from that those search terms, I googled "panda skin Pixel 2 xl"

Great option to panda-fy your phone if you don't want to wait on the actual 2-tone variety to be available. Lots of options, including inverted (white top, black bottom), leather, carbon fiber, etc.

If applied carefully, the phone will look like it came that way from the factory unless handled very close. Not sure if the skins come in two parts for top and bottom - if not, the glass shade wouldn't appear as glass anymore (though it would be protected against scratches (huge issue on 2016 models); if so, you could just apply a white bottom and side trim and be good to go).

$17.50 shipped right now after applying the current "FLASH" discount code.

Ok, actually... Go to Mix 'n Match and just order the white "back" and you should be set - $9.96 shipped. Looking at the images it appears to cover the sides too, do the only at-a-glance giveaways would be the lack of the orange power button and the black fps (they have skins for the fps but I can't imagine how that would leave it functional).

This might be a dumb question, but do these wraps interfere with signals at all? For instance, I read in reviews that Google uses glass for the top window to help with reception and such. But do products like these interfere at all?

Not at all (well, technically any added material interferes, but nothing that will ever impact user experience). Plastics don't impede signal the way metal does.

I placed an order for a pixel 2 panda skin, how long for these to ship out? I would like to have the skin before the phone arrives early next week.

Hoping they ship soon.... I ordered mine 10/13 and it hasn't shipped yet...

No sure as to why....

When I've ordered from them in the past, it usually took several days for them to ship. They're not the fastest, but they do deliver a top-quality product.

This is the reason I stopped using them and with the other company for a while. Prices are almost identical when you factor shipping yet slickwraps takes 3-4 days to even ship out your product yet charges $3 for usps first class mail which only costs 47 to 68 cents based on weight.

True, but... I opted for a skin that sells for 9.95, got 30% off, added $3 for shipping, and am essentially getting it at regular price with $0.01 shipping and getting a free tempered glass screen protector under the (still current as of now) promo. No complaints at all on my part.

I ordered these two weeks ago ;)... had the same idea. Mine from dbrand arrived and is the full back coverage... I may need to slice it...

Dbrand makes great skins too - but that's one reason I went with the Slickwraps... I don't want to cover the glass, and no modification should be required when ordering just that other section.

Most orders have shipped out. We apologize for the delays, we're hoping with some new processes and machines to get to same-day shipping by Nov 1st.

Thanks for the update!

Mine hasn't arrived yet, but neither has my Pixel 2 XL so the race is on....

Appreciate the update. Assuming you're sending out shipping notifications? Ordered mine on 10/15.

Thanks for sharing this. I browsed the site and I just couldn't resist. Ordered a skin with express shipping (basically free with the coupon code they give you when you land on the site!)
