Slide out keyboard and screen stops working

Anyone else run into this problem?

Basically, when you slide out the keyboard the screen goes black. Then when you slide it back in it comes back.

Broken cable I assume.

Just looking for possible solutions.

I am sorry to report that I am having a similar issue. Only, I still see everything. When I slide out my keys,
I cannot use the touchscreen feature again until I replace the keyboard.
I believe this just happened yesterday. I have had the device over a year.
