Hey i am using Redmi note 7 pro....its supports 120 fps slow mo .
Can it be extand up to 240fps by software changes?it have 1/1000 highest shutter speed.
(Its a software feature of hardware like we have slow motion hardware so whats the limit for the slow mo fps with the shutter speed of 1/1000?)

When it comes to slow motion video, shutter speed is only a small part of the equation. It also takes time to process and save each individual frame. If you take a single photo, the app basically has all the time in the world to process and save it after you press the shutter. Video has only a split second. 120fps slow motion is essentially taking 120 individual photos every second. Even if you could find an app that allowed a higher frame rate than stock (and most only allow the maximum allowed by the device itself), your hardware may not be fast enough to keep up.

as a example their have 2 mobiles with same camera sensor one support 120fps and second support 960fps how is that possible

My initial comment still applies. It's not just one thing that determines the ability to record slow motion. If the processor, memory, storage, sensor, ability to dissipate heat, AND anything else involved can't handle that high of a frame rate, then you simply can not record that fast.

I moved this from the General News forum to the Xiaomi forum for more specific traffic.
