Small X At Bottom Of The Screen?

I just noticed there is a small white x in a circle at the bottom of the screen that wasn't there before its right in the center. I restart the phone and its gone then a minute later it reappears is this caused by a recent update or something? :/

Just found out. If you have a message in the Xbox beta app then the x appears
