Smart Lock -- Less Smart on my Pixel than my old 6p

I have one 'smart lock' set: location - home. All other smart lock settings are off (no trusted devices, on-body, voice, face).

Twice at work over the past week I find that my phone will not lock at work (work is a bit over a mile from home). If I restart the phone, the problem goes away, and my PIN lock engages as it should for the rest of the day at work. Has anyone else had a similar issue?

Yes!!!!!!!!!! I thought it was just me....and tech support at google and verizon are acting like this issue never existed until i called up LOL. Im getting a new device

Hm not seeing this issue. It sounds like it isn't pinging your location once at work. Open maps once you're there then close it.. See how it goes for the rest of the day after that.

I get home and fire wifi up to get on my wifi. It pings my location and smart lock works.

No trusted device availability? Damn, love that with my s7/pebble.

I have mine set to see my Ford Sync and my watch as trusted devices.
