Smart Lock -> "Trusted Places" missing

Set up Smart Lock | Trusted Places recently

Up until a few days ago Trusted places worked fine on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 Nougat 7.0. when I was at home.

Now Trusted place (home) doesn't work. I have no other Trusted place set up. When I go to settings| Lock screen & security| Smart Lock| (enter pin) The only things listed are On-body detection & Trusted devices.

Trusted locations is MIA. How do I get it back?

Problem solved by removing updates to Google Play Services.

Thanks! I had the same problem, although I'm on 6.0 still.

It's now telling me a lot of Google stuff won't work. Should I update GPServices again now things are working or will that just break it again?

I could also fix the prob by uninstalling updates for Google Play Services - so it's clearly a google glitch.

By the way - I could not uninstall these updates until I deactivated Android Device Manager under Settings > Security > Device Administrators. Which was a bit tricky because Android Device Manager has been renamed to "Find my device" recently.

Trusted Places and Trusted Voices are back now.

Probably a short pleasure because Google Play Services might update again without asking for permission.
