Are there any tricks to get this to work? I have Home set as a trusted place but can't get it to work.

this is why I don't use a lock. I'm mostly at home, and when I'm out 99.9% of the time it is in my purse and my purse is slung across my body with the phone in a pocket. once though, I left it on top of my car and drove home. a good samaritan found it and returned it to me via a text to my son. this is why I need trusted places to work. I'm always within a foot of my phone... almost always.

Mine used to work unless I'm thinking of my S10+. I have it disabled but I just tried it on both on body detection and home and it just went black after I set it for 15 seconds so it's not working. I'm going to restart to see id that helps.

but... if I had it locked he couldn't have texted my son who texted me with his phone number... sweet guy, very kind
I restarted and at first I thought on body detection wasnt working. I initially double tapped and it came up with the biometrics print but I double tapped again and it was unlocked.
My trusted location is also working. Check to make sure the location itself is enabled. Mine was greyed out so I thought it wasn't working. Tap the location if greyed out and enable it. If that doesn't work it possible the location is a bit off from Google Maps. You cam try to add it again to see if it's the same.Screenshot_20190928-162154_Google%20Play%20services.jpeg

it gave my neighbor's location but she's uber close so I selected it and it still didn't work. the spot on the map could have been me for as well as google maps works here.

Odd.....because I got it to work. I can never understand why stuff like that happens.

Google's location can be finicky at times especially if it's rural areas or new construction. It's database is only as good as the information that's input to it.

Especially here in Hawai'i. We use dashes in our addresses and that sometimes throws off Google Maps and Waze.

If you add current location that should get around that unless its shifting

Google still tries to find an actual address associated with that GPS coordinate. It's kinda weird. Like I said, rural areas and new construction or addresses throws it off.

It's also dependent on how the information was entered into its database.

I just set up a Bixby Routine to unlock the phone at home, but it doesn't recognize that I'm home either.
