Smart lock

The point to smart lock is that it can unlock your phone by the sound of your voice or when you are unable to reach or touch it correct? Yet when your screen is fully off it doesn't unlock or hear your voice at all. What's the point to smart lock if it's not cooperating correctly? Android please upgrade smart lock

Even iOS Siri can respond to your "Hey Siri" only when connected to power. Don't know why it only works when connected to power.

Uh, Smartlock says that it only works when screen is on or when plugged in. Also having it do what you want will use up battery like crazy. You can't have that and not drain battery. Plug it in when you put it down, then it will listen continuously.

And that's not the point of smart lock. The point is to have it unlocked in places where it is unlikely that security is needed. The phone is useless if there's no battery.

I find it weird that people want features that will drain their battery, but hates that their batteries get drained.
