Smart Lock's Trusted Location option is gone (UPD: It's back)

Re: Smart Lock's Trusted Location option is gone

Rebooted and trusted places came back on Pixel 2. Let's hope it stays back...

Re: Smart Lock's Trusted Location option is gone

It might be back but it's still hit and miss for me. Was like this on Oreo as well so I don't think it's a beta issue. Works maybe 3/4 of the time. Oh well

Re: Smart Lock's Trusted Location option is gone

Showed back up for me, too. No reboot here.

Re: Smart Lock's Trusted Location option is gone

Glad it is back :D. TBH I just saw this post but already notice my phone was unlocked once I got home tonight.

My "Trusted Places" is also back and working again.

Microsoft Windows 10 has a "Windows 10 Update History" site where Microsoft lets you know what is fixed in each update and what known bugs exist. It would certainly be nice if Google Android had such a site.

Interestingly I had this exact issue on my Nokia 8 but ALL the Smart Lock options disappeared. I've fixed it now but it was really odd.

I have Voice Match, Trusted Device and a single Trusted Place set up and out of all of those the Trusted Place is the only weak point. I do, however, have a fingerprint set up so even if the Smart Lock options fail... well... good luck using anything on my phone as anything that CAN use a fingerprint DOES use a fingerprint!!!

My trusted places has been broken since I got my phone about a year ago. I hunted through the interwebs just to be told that a lot of people have the same problem. About three months ago I got pissed off and contacted El Goog tech support only to be told that it's a known issue that is being handled by the Android team. (Not the exact words, I forget the technical term she used that essentially meant the people who work on Android's software.)
