Smart Voice recorder app data transferred to sd card , now in an unuseable thumbdata3 format

I transferred my files from the smart voice recorder app on my phone's internal memory and transferred it to the SD card and now on the SD card it shows up in a thumbdata 3 file format, which is useless wont play, please help?

Does using a file browser like Astro allow you to "open as?" My Smart Voice Recorder recordings are still on internal storage so they are apparently hidden but this has worked for other problem files.
