SMS and +1 phone number format issue

Hello

I am having a major issue with SMS not getting to the phone I am sending to. The phone threw off no error and looked to be like it was sent just fine but not getting to the destination.

I went to VZW store and they said its b/c the format of the phone number with +1-phonenumber was the issue. So we typed in the number without +1 and successfully reached the destination.

But Fascinate kept on changing the number back to to +1 format after I leave the SMS screen, and to come back to read the message, even though I didn't type it in there. Now, I can only receive and my replies are not getting to the destination.

Please help!!

Had the exact same problem. I removed all number formatting from my Google contacts and was still having the +1 show up when i received replies. I then did a factory reset and i haven't seen the problem since.
