One of the things I miss about my Palm WebOS Pre, was having my SMS/GTalk/MSN/Facebook chat integrated into one application.

I was able to communicate with one person through all of those mediums in one place as long as i had all the accounts linked.

That's the ideal way to do things, and I'm surprised other platforms aren't mimicking that.

Is there a hack to do this in Android, or is anyone aware of any plans to do this by Android themselves?

+1!

I want an app that integrates at least sms and aim, but all the others thrown in would be great too. I don't understand why android doesn't have this built in like WebOS

This looks like just a hyped up version of e-buddy, ans like e-buddy, SMS is not integrated.

True, for me that's close enough. And, to be honest, I don't think I'd want SMS grouped in with my Chat clients, but that's just me! Trillian fills basically all my needs
