Android Central Question
During an SMS conversation with a given contact, where is the sound when a reply is received from the recipient? Currently the phone is dead silent, and I've missed more than a few important replies, just to look back at the dialog later and see a reply.
If I close the message app, close the conversation, minimize the Message app, or put the phone to sleep, the message notification sound is generated. We need the sound with each message received during a conversation with the same number.
I hope I've explained this adequately. It would be similar to the subtle sound an iPhone makes when messaging back and forth with someone.
The Samsung tech support rep just indicated there is no such feature on Samsung phones. So which App would provide this feature?
