So, 4.3 is out. Wonder how long before GPe's get it.

The Developer Edition and the UnLocked International Edition are the same as the AT&T version. The differences are pretty clear with the DE having none of the bloat and is meant to be unlocked out of the box so no "voiding" your warranty stuff.

That said I have fully converted my HTC One to a GPe radio, bootloader, rom and all and back again to a fully working Sense device since I just couldn't get past a few things that were lacking, but I will try again later on but more as a ROM for a while. Perhaps with 4.3 coming along I will be more interested in doing it again, but not until then.

The official 4.3 GPe kernel just leaked so the rom build isn't far behind.

GPe 4.3 is out and OTA's are working and I converted my DE to a GPe with a fresh RUU install again tonight.

You need to go into apps, clear the cache/data in Google Services Framework, reboot (turn off and back on) go back into Google Services Framework and clear cache/data again and then check for the OTA. Do Not Be Surprised, IF YOU NEED TO DO IT LIKE 10 TIMES before it takes.

There are numerous users all over the world who have done just what I did and are enjoying GPe 4.3 right now. In addition a new RUU has been created so you can use command line to get it on the phone by pushing the RUU just like I did for 4.2.2. Its working just fine for me.

I also have no issues with updating my apps, I did a factory reset and set up my Google Services again without issue. As with anything there is no guarantee's in life other than Death & Taxes.
