So... All day battery life???

After one month, I'm averaging 26:30 with 5:28 screen time. That's with WQHD+, auto brightness, all standard features enabled, no power saving (except adaptive WiFi), no "debloating" etc. Just using the phone. On previous Notes, I'd get 15-16 hours with maybe 3 hours screen time.

What overall battery % with those stats?

Is there a job somewhere in your daily routine?

Yeah but I try not to actually work at it :D

I'm a computer programmer so I sit at my desk all day. I always have messages for web open in a browser so I dont have to keep looking at my phone.

Most of my phone use is between 5-11pm when I'm not at work. I do use my phone at lunch and when not at my desk though.

One important thing to do is restart your phone at least once a week..... really helps with good battery life

What overall battery % with those stats?
Those are the extrapolated times until battery exhaustion, as given by GSam Battery Monitor. Usually I charge my phone each night. But the few times I've let the battery run down to zero (or close to zero), the times have been consistent with those extrapolations. Yesterday, I finished the day at 50% charge after 14:06 with 3:01 screen time.

Here is mine screen shot...its 10 PM here in india and I am gonna use the phone till 3 am...giving great battery life and also in standby

Oh wow how do you manage those stats?

On this phone, I haven't done anything special. I think it's simply because I have T-Mobile and I get superior signal in my area. I have a T-Mobile tower on the next block over and all through my area.

I was getting this usage as on day one soon as I restored my backup from my Note 8. I keep LTE on 24/7. brightness on about 55%, location on battery saving and that's pretty much it.

Nice! I have T-Mobile too. Do you have battery saving on mid or max?

I was about to ask that as well. I charge mine every night, regardless if it's at 20% or 50%.

What's "location on battery saving" then?

In settings under connections, there is a location setting. There are three options. High accuracy will use more battery power. I use the middle option, battery saving. You can turn location off completely but then some apps may start asking you to turn on location in settings so they can work correctly.

I easily saw all day last night. I'm also going to be seeing all day today as well walking into the day starting at 65%.

I'll probably lose another 3% in the next half hour since I'm browsing the forum on break.

This is the first charge / discharge cycle. I took my phone off the plug the first time on Sunday at 2 AM.
