So article has rumored price for S8 at $700-750, $850 for S8 Plus

I'm definitely interested in the next Note, but if its $1000 I'm not sure. Honestly I dont see it costing that much

Yea..I dont see that many Note 7 owners after going through two recalls for phone meltdowns, paying 4 digits on the next note or S8 variants. I dont think I would

Yea. I do NOT want to go through that again and how it took TWO months to get my refund after fighting for hours and hours with Tmobile. I probably will purchase it in store this time around instead of pre order in case something goes wrong with it and maybe wait a couple weeks to buy it. If it turns out to be a debacle again I think I'm done with Samsung.

Phones are getting out of control with their release prices. I prefer to stay under 700 including taxes at preorder

So this is my official guess for the pricing of Samsung's latest flagship devices. I really don't think they will have the reported price of over $900 USD, those 'rumours' i feel is just just 'click bait' to increase page views. If Samsung keep it below $700 and have the awesome new design. I think they will sell really well :)

$699 for the S8
$799 for the S8+ (Plus)
$849 for the Note 8

Yes, hope so, if not Samsung is just digging their own grave. Already I believe the pre-order numbers will be affected due to Note 7 phobia, and if it's $1k, they can kiss majority of their customers goodbye.

Over $900 for a phone?? And I thought the V20 was expensive. I found a 'deal' for about $700 for the early release package. But $900+? Jeez. I'd take that money and put it towards a HP Spectre x360 2-in-1. Only a few hundred away from it with $900.

I agree. Also I probably will not pre order this time around the S8 Plus. I don't want to get burned again if the phone is a fireball or other flop. It was a nightmare ordeal to get a refund back that took almost 3 months to get back to the point I was going to go to the attorney general.

If the phone is priced over 900 I think Samsung is doing more damage to their mobile division. A $1000 I won't buy. Can buy better stuff with that cash.

Can we wait until the prices are announced before we start nailing them to the cross? lol

I'm expecting about a 20 percent price increase from last year.

So going by the Samsung site for their price on a AT&T S7 32GB and S7 Edge 32GB

$694.99 + 20% = $833.99 for an S8

$794.99 + 20% = $953.99

The Note 7 price varied between $834-880 + 20% = $1000.80 for the Note 8

I don't see the Note 8 costing that much more but we will see

Unfortunately I don't think those phones will be that"cheap".

Note 8 is on the top of my next phone list currently. I hope it doesn't cost a fortune lol.
