So glad I didn't get the HTC One X

What information do you think he is saying is not accurate. If I hadn't attached the article he wouldn't have anything to describe as inaccurate or not. Why is he talking about "We are aware that there are official-looking websites online.." if he isn't referring to the article I attached. He didn't make up his statement out of thin air. He did not say the information is partly inaccurate or that it was mostly inaccurate he said it was not accurate. First your buddy criticizes the tech for his accuracy and you gave no credence to the tech's comments and now all of the sudden he is the font of all holy and righteousness. Curiouser and curiouser.

Not sure you know what you're saying. I was saying what the tech said was inaccurate, because it is. He is saying information about a recall isn't accurate, but the article in no way, shape, or form said anything about a recall. So the word RECALL should never have come up at all. But yet it did. And you want to take this LEVEL 1 tech's email as the truth, whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Yeah. Ok.

But let's go ahead and assume that the tech didn't misspeak at all and meant exactly what he said (still doesn't explain the "recall" talk). Non-Samsung sites are inaccurate. That would imply that non-Samsung forums are also inaccurate. Which would mean that any and all advice given on Android Central Forums, including yours Tohio, is inaccurate.

But yet you still want to believe everything that tech said.

I've owned both and hands down they are the TWO best phones i ever had.

I think if you are going to regret purchasing one over the other, you may just be a "grass is always greener on the other side" sorta person.

Like everyone has said, neither one is without issues, but undeniably they are BOTH amazing devices that offer features to be largely appreciated by the right owner : )

To think back just a few short years ago most of us were communicating with a Motorola Razr and its limitations really puts things in perspective. I cant believe i had the gold D&G edition and thought THAT was the bomb diggedty...lol

Look, just reread the tech response he didn't say all non Samsung sites are inaccurate. He said:

1. "...there are official-looking websites online that have statements regarding recalls, but these are not Samsung sites,..."

2. " and this information is not accurate."

He didn't say and they are inaccurate he said this information is inaccurate. Again the only information he could be referring to was they article from Choson I attached unless he makes stuff up to comment on.

Regardless, looks like I'll have to get further information since you won't believe the written word.

But until then do me one little favor, show me and our faithful readers where I said I don't believe in screen burn as you claimed. Now I think those reading this thread would agree that that is not an unreasonable request.

The tech said the article you based your entire argument on was not correct. I attached the article itself to my query. The recall comment was in reply to my question about Samsung taking back phones with burned in screens.

No one mentioned recalls except for the rep you emailed. In fact, he does not address AT ALL Samsung replacing screens with burn in. A recall is very different than Samsung replacing screens under warranty. Learn to read English.

"Learn to read English"? well that is pretty insulting. I would report you to the moderators but I think we all know the response I would get.

Read the first page and saw the war starting.. I can only imagine the same thing for the following 11 pages.

Kevin, you took the time out of your busy day to like JHB Three's post but you still haven't shown where I said that I didn't believe in burn in or that I said the G S III doesn't have problems. Why not take a few seconds to post those quotes from me stating the above.

Wow is all I can say...Seriously. Move on. Let's just hope that the SG3 lives up to all the love that the OP must have for it. Great phone, but quite a pedestal. I use these forums for tips, to share some problems yes, but to look for resolutions to them. When the OP started the thread with subject/title chosen after perhaps reading countless other HOX versus SG3 threads, I think perhaps he was looking for a debate? My opinion. And no I am not friends with Kevin. Let it go, this is at the point of ridiculousness.

i had my One X since launch.. no problems here.. my GS3 gives me more problems than my GS2.. software wise

Also, how do I even know this is genuinely from Samsung?

Are you accusing me of lying? Seriously? When you or anyone else could contact Samsung tech support and ask the same question, or the cowboy could call his buddies at Samsung? Is this really what moderators do?

BTW I'm waiting to hear back from other sources at Samsung to verify or deny the Choson article.

Yeah, that happens when you attack them like a rabid chihuahua for no reason other than to stroke your own ego and sense of self worth.

Given your history, its a valid question.

So, because hes experiencing problems, its because he hasn't updated his software. But if the One x has problems, its because its a steaming pile of garbage.

Glad to see you finally proved, unintentionally, that you're a troll.

to be fair i thought he meant to change the bit on here that displays what devices u own

I have a 2010 Toyota Prius.

So I'm going to spend my free time researching and complaining about 1997 Ford Escorts on message boards.

Makes perfect sense right?
