So, is the newest software for the DNA rooted?

I used to have a DNA, then sold it for the lack of a root. Has the device been rooted yet on the latest firmware? A link would be appreciated! I would like to come back to Android sometime, and the DNA looks like the best device for Verizon still. EDIT: While we're at it, what IS the newest OS version?

It's 2.xx and yes the moonshine method will give you root and s-off.
