These kind of threads again make me cringe. Let's make it a nice community.
Just say " hey OP, I personally find that a little hard to believe, but I guess it's possible. That was lucky. Maybe all is not lost if that happens to me. Nice one." Then carry on!
The OP was not trying to con someone out of money.
My Note 3 fell flat on its back from about 12 feet.
Someone recently returned a Note 4 to the owner that fell out of a small plane while taking a selfie from outside the window on his first trial lesson for his birthday.
I believe it can happen maybe 10 % of the time. Cushions of air, something like that.
OP we apologise.
(now I've got to write to Santa before it's too late)
I appreciate the sentiment you're trying to convey, really I do. But you're making it sound like we're a bunch of cynics as opposed to being realists. A lot of people are opposed to sensationalism and for good reason. There's something to be said when preferring accuracy over hype is considered poor form.
Possibly.
My brain is still working on that last sentence, lol, which way was that going?
Anyway you can usually tell when someone is bs ing, but reading the original post again now on a pc, OK I grant there wasn't much there to start with.
Still it was a bit of a gang up, and to me it could be true. I don't know what was moderated. Wasn't as bad as PenGate though.
You found a pub story I told 2 years ago amusing, so I thank you!![]()
