So, My Edge+ fell 60ft onto Concrete

Look, again, I have nothing to prove to anyone and the fact that some of you (namely one) literally spent hours of their life trying to argue a weird and argue this situation is funny and quite sad. I'm sure I wouldn't be so "lucky" if by on chance it happens agains, but hopefully it won't. There were no News crews for it to be filmed, nor were there any other way to show proof. It's laughable to even think that there can be. I was going to just delete this thread, but I'm not going to let the naysayers win. I know what happened, my coworkers know what happened and that's all that matters really. Take it, leave, but most importantly, move the heck on

Sorry OP but I'm with BBSeattle on this one. There's not a hope your phone fell 60ft and is even working, let alone got no scratches. I don't care what anybody says to back this up. It defies the laws of physics.

Wake up and smell the coffee.

Perhaps the OP can oblige and describe the scenario as it happened. Were you perhaps leaning out of a 6th floor balcony and your phone fell? I think in all honesty, some people are simply questioning your understanding of what a height of 60 ft truly is. Describing the scenario will go a long way in helping people understand your POV.

These kind of threads again make me cringe. Let's make it a nice community.

Just say " hey OP, I personally find that a little hard to believe, but I guess it's possible. That was lucky. Maybe all is not lost if that happens to me. Nice one." Then carry on!

The OP was not trying to con someone out of money.

My Note 3 fell flat on its back from about 12 feet.

Someone recently returned a Note 4 to the owner that fell out of a small plane while taking a selfie from outside the window on his first trial lesson for his birthday.

I believe it can happen maybe 10 % of the time. Cushions of air, something like that.

OP we apologise.

(now I've got to write to Santa before it's too late)

I appreciate the sentiment you're trying to convey, really I do. But you're making it sound like we're a bunch of cynics as opposed to being realists. A lot of people are opposed to sensationalism and for good reason. Something needs to be said when preferring accuracy over hype is considered poor form.

Possibly. :)
My brain is still working on that last sentence, lol, which way was that going?:)

Anyway you can usually tell when someone is bs ing, but reading the original post again now on a pc, OK I grant there wasn't much there to start with.

Still it was a bit of a gang up, and to me it could be true. I don't know what was moderated. Wasn't as bad as PenGate though.

You found a pub story I told 2 years ago amusing, so I thank you! :D:cool:

lol sorry I just mixed my words in that last sentence. I meant "something needs to be said" not "there's something to be said" lol and yes that pub story is still funny even now :P I actually miss my Note 3. Gave it to my nephew, he's still rockin it.
