So tell me your real life usage/battery drain?

I see references to "bad" battery life, but curious as to what that means...I know usage is subjective...my medium could be your heavy, but right now I don't see anything on this forum. So just curious as to what kind of battery life you guys are seeing overall, knowing it's subjective.

On my Droid X:

I would say I have heavy usage: wifi for an hour in the morning, constantly writing/checking emails during the day, touchdown exchange is set to receive emails "as they arrive", use 'whatsapp' a lot, and Newsrob throughout the day.

With all this in mind, I take my phone off the charger at 6am and when I get home at 5:30pm the battery is down to 40 or maybe 50 if I'm lucky.

Not sure if that's the norm but that's my usage/battery story

I just installed the froyo leak for Fascinate and having some issues with battery life.

I got wifi/mobile network on all the time, receiving emails as they arrive.. viewing news here and there, games here and there.. auto-sync on (with lots of apps to sync)...

My battery bar becomes red after about 24 hours.

I envy you, I have very similar daily usage, also wifi/network, I sync my calendar only once a day, and I have to plug it every 12 hrs. GPS off, screen 40% dimmed and doesn't make any difference.

Varies depending on what im doing my best till now was around 36/38 hours and on average at least a day depending how much I surf, telephone etc. After reading some of the horror stories I was expecting a lot worse and have been mildly suprised.

I get a day usage out of the phone. About 30% of battery left at the end of the day around 5pm

I have about the same life here. The phone doesn't really get used during the day, with the exception of receiving email. By the time I get home at 5pm, I quote often need to grab a little bit of charge time.

Involved:

Checking Facebook(every 15min), GMail Syncing(every 15min), , a few pictures taken and uploaded, Twitter abused, a couple of app downloads from the market, browsing xda using their premium app, a couple of phone calls and a few texts.

Data/WiFi/GPS toggled off unless needed using Extended Control Widget.
Brightness manually adjusted but kept on step 2 of a 5 step toggle using Extended Control Widget.

LauncherPro 1 Home Screen, 3 Docks.

With a new 1600mAH
Battery I get 7 hours ~45mins.

With the 1200mAH standard, 6 hours ~15mins.

That's with normal use, wifi/3G (no bluetooth). Mostly web surfing, etc.

Using Battery Left Pro app.
