Sorry about the assumption, but it does seem joy stick related. If you can reliably duplicate the symptom, try then putting a piece if tape over the joy stick. If that fixes things, then at least you know something for sure. What you do with such knowledge is not apparent.
Well, Well. I just set my Incredible down on the table, and "swiped" the optical joy stick with a beam of light from my pocket flashlight. What do you know, the home screen changed. It will even change to the appropriate screens depending on if I move the light from left to right, or right to left.
So now what? Is it a defect? Can it be fixed with software? Probably. HTC needs to know about this.
No way! It is a freaking remote!![]()

So, those of you that bought extended batteries, what kind did you buy and where did you get it? I've see everything from a 1500mAh battery to a 1750mAh on the Android Central Store to a 2250mAh on a site called htcpedia. I want to get the best life i can from my phone, but the 2250 requires a different "back" to the phone and i don't know if i should trust the third party. I tried verizon this afternoon, but the didn't have any for the incredible. Should i just go to BB and get an Eris battery?
