So what changes would you make to the Note 9?

My needs are simple...freaking bring back S Note already! This is the third phone (Notes 7, 8 & 9) that I've spent way too much time on putzing around trying to get an incredibly superior application to resemble itself as it functioned on the Notes original thru N5.

It was annoying at first. Then weirdly gratifying knowing we were able to get it back on the N7 & 8. Now with the half-assed way it's working on the N9, I'm just pissed off. They could lay Samsung Notes to rest alongside Bixby to really make me happy, but so long as Package Disabler Pro can kill Bixby for me, I can just ignore Samsung Notes.

For me, I would like the AOD to have an indicator for charging mode (Fast/Normal) and time to full charge

Mine are mostly hardware.
Flat edges, and get rid of the top and bottom bezels, even if that means adding a notch. Add an ir blaster. Remove the Bixby button.

Other dream features would be FaceTime, iMessage, iCloud compatibility and have Dex load Mac OSX.

God no please no notch. There needs to be at least one manufacturer that doesn't go that route.

Get rid of the horrible curved display and put a physical home button and FPS on the front again.

Also frustrated that the 2nd camera used for telephoto doesn't actually work in pro mode, I would add the ability to pick which camera is used.

And native ability to remap the Bixby button, I would much rather it be a camera/shutter button.

Sounds like you'd like a p20 pro or mate rs.

The only thing I'd ask for is a more durable phone. A way to make the glass more durable would be great so I don't have to obsess about literally every bump breaking the glass.

Beyond the durability issue, the phone is literally perfect. It fixed my two complaints about my Note 8-- battery life and fingerprint scanner location. I love the Note 9 and wouldn't change much.
