So what gives with the Z Flip 3?

Z flip3 owner since release. Basically my main driver, no screen issues at all. Screen and hinge mechanism still in mint condition.

Had a Z Flip3 since date of release and really liked it. Great form factor, easily slipped into a pocket, no battery complaints.

But, started to get separation of the screen protector form the screen right along the crease. Caused noticeable crease in the center of the screen and became rather visually distracting.

Samsung made a great offer on trade-in for S22 Ultra and I sorta missed my SPen (long time Note user), so I opted for the trade in. Probably could have gotten teh protector replaced at a Ubreakifix, but figured the same would eventually repeat.

Glad I tried out the Fliip3, but happy now with my S22 U.

Not all of us will have issues, doesn't mean others won't. I remember note 7 when a few reported a issue and everyone was saying we aren't having issues, then all of a sudden it became widespread issues. It's nice to see issues to keep an eye out for them and maybe even help the few that do.

I've been lucky also. I have had the Zip 3 since launch also. No problems here. Even the battery life is more than adequate for me.

It seems like the Flip3 is holding up better than the Fold3. I'm guessing because the Fold has a much bigger screen and crease... there's more issues with screen cracking, and especially the screen protector lifting off.

Hardware wise my flipper dipper has been great, aside from the screen protector coming unbound from the display. Software wise, it's a bit weird. YTM won't work at all with Bixby Routines and sometimes settings will change themselves, such as wifi turning itself on even when completely disabled, or Fast Charge becoming disabled.

It's sad that some have had issues. I'm pleased to say, I've no issues of consequence. One weird software issue that's been fixed. Battery, not such an issue with me either.
