So When Do You Think Google Will Activate LTE On The Nexus 4?

Dear God, can you not read? It lacks an LTE antenna. There will be no LTE N4. Got it? Good.

Nother helping of crow for you too Ziptied...

Anyone who thinks they will leave a $20 chip on a mother board when they don't need it is crazy.

If u don't care then don't post. If u don't like the phone that's your opinion. But it is definitely far from a POS.

Like I said, you asked a question and I answered it. As far as it being a POS, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. With 11 gb available, to me, it makes it a POS.

The internals and look may be top of the line, but if the phone will not handle what I need it to, it falls into the POS bucket. Maybe when they release the 32 gb model in a few months I could reconsider it. Unfortunately the other phone I was considering, the DNA, falls into this same category.

It would be awesome if they could do it as soon as T-Mobile launches it. Wishful thinking of course

So the question remains, when do you think Google will activate LTE on the nexus 4?

Especially when selling an unlocked version for only 350...

They'll probably come out with a version that supports lte... But. The one now isn't going going to just magically start using lte.

Why would you doubt I need it for porn? Even if it isn't porn, don't we want the fastest connection possible? I use about 25gb a month in data. Most of it is job related. A lot of it is while I am working at a customers site. I think it is better that I can get in and out faster from their point of view and that they would hate having me there longer just because of a download...

Yup, after all the chest thumping assertions that it could never happen, it turns out the hackers only took a few days.

Yo Kevin, how's that crow tasting?

Look at that...turns out I was seemingly correct in this being illegal.

And working on ONE band does not an LTE phone make. Especially a band that's essentially useless except in a very few specific markets.

Well. It was and still is possible to lte it. Could we just chill :p pretty sure we all knew how far this could go and where It would stop. It's all good now relax :p

As long as the hardware supports it and the bands remain operational it cant really be stopped.

Unless you think LG engineers are a bunch of bumbling idiots, the inescapable conclusion is that the phone is equipped exactly as planned, and it is working exactly as intended.

Don't expect any OTA to break this. Expect Rogers and other Canadian carriers to officially support it.
Expect it to be officially certified with just paperwork soon.

Yeah, because it would've been so much harder to get it certified pre-launch, advertise working in LTE in some areas, etc etc. Keep dreaming, but what do i know.... ;)

Might want to have some of that crow while you're at it, guy.

Give the FCC a call, see what they have to say.

And LG would pay for FCC certification twice because....

Sometimes it's cheaper to only produce (or buy) one chip as opposed to two.
