So when will we get our phones (pre orders) Samsung.com

One of the key indicators is checking our UPS apps, to see a tracking number loading. I'm hoping by next Friday we see one loaded. FedEx could be a possibility, but the last couple of launches Samsung has used UPS.

Fedex won't let it send it to a hub or pickup location must be at home. I had UPS deliver it at my home last year. Can I have it sent to the UPS store? I have almost everything sent there because UPS always delivers my packages to the wrong business or house. If so that's a HUGE help for me cause I don't have to stay home all day or call in sick to work.

I believe now you can uncheck the box during the order process that takes away the requirement of you having to sign for the package.

And then the wrong house possibly gets your package. I didn't see that option when I ordered. Also it wouldn't give me the option to pickup at a best buy location I thought they have samsung experience stores in all of them.

wow, here in the US, there is no option ever for choosing the date you want yours to be delivered!!

there isn't even an "express shipping" option for an additional fee!!
Samsung uses a national carrier DPD and you get quite a choice on delivery dates.

I just checked FedEx and found a just created label coming to me. Momentarily excited. Alas, it's 11 pounds, so clearly not a phone :(

When I had to select yes or no signature when checking out, it told me the product wasn't able to be sent to the store (in some language). They may have to attempt delivery first? Found it odd

I have NEVER seen this option when checking out. It's the unicorn of the Samsung purchasing process.

They can do that sometimes to make sure money there then put it back after next day to pending then take it once phone ships, I've seen that happen
Wow- never knew that one.

All the more reason to use a credit card. I continue collecting 5% HYSA interestin my checking account up until a few days prior to paying the entire CC balance (right before the due date).

I only use a debt card for my employer HSA medical expenses. Debt cards are far more vulnerable to skimming, etc. and getting your money back from dispute/scam/skim can take a lot longer than when dealing with a credit card company.

It's always there for me. IIRC it's UNchecked, and you have to check it. Even though I get delivery to my office, I request a signature so they don't just leave it in the mailroom.

Well let's hope that's the case, because any Samsung device I've ordered directly (so far it has always been Galaxy Watches) they must have had it checked to sign for delivery by default.

Drives me up the wall, playing this game of trying to be home when FedEx or UPS wants to show up.

There's a hilarious meme of a FedEx driver waving from his truck and it says something like, "oh, you're not ever home at 1030am on a weekday? I'll be back at the exact same time tomorrow!"
