just checked out of curiosity:

cancel button still on my order list on samsung.com

:(

thinking out loud: at this stage, isn't the most effective way of seeing progress on our shipments at this point going to UPS' site or app's UPS My Choice tab and seeing when a tracking number has been generated for our address?

that way, it is real progress being made, as opposed to other more nebulous clues.

my ups account doesn't show any labels being generated yet.

Wow- never knew that one.

All the more reason to use a credit card. I continue collecting 5% HYSA interestin my checking account up until a few days prior to paying the entire CC balance (right before the due date).

I only use a debt card for my employer HSA medical expenses. Debt cards are far more vulnerable to skimming, etc. and getting your money back from dispute/scam/skim can take a lot longer than when dealing with a credit card company.
Yeah I see that with debt card transactions not just for phones to make sure the money is there

My debit card was charged as well on 1/22. But I still have the cancel button on my order on Samsung. No labels have been created for UPS or FedEx yet.

Ditto!

maybe others can chime in, but one year not too many years ago, the UPS label was issued very early and yet, the phone wasn't actually shipped for many days afterwards, like a week if not even more, causing much consternation and stomach acid among those of us here on this forum.

I got a label created, too! I wonder if they will start shipping out next week?

I'm showing two tracking numbers but UPS app is saying they're not in the system yet.

I wonder if the cases and screen protectors are shipped separately

I think Samsung will stage the orders, and place them in the truck's trailer(s). When they are ready, USP will pickup the trailer(s) and process for delivery. It may take one day or more before UPS pickup the trailer. My company processes UPS shipping the same way.

My UPS app is also showing a shipping label created from Samsung. This is by far the earliest I've seen a shipping label created from either UPS or FedEx during my last eight years of annual Samsung phone upgrades.

2nd day air is the confirmed shipping method showing as well, which has been the norm in previous orders, but still good to see.

Let's go. Hopefully they don't hold it at the distribution center once it ships.
ah right! there's that issue as well!

i recall distinctly that one particular year, they had the labels created and then it just sat dormant for a long time, something like a full week, until literally the last minute! we ultimately received our phones like the day prior to general release at the brick and mortar stores, so net/net, ultimately, we didn't get any true early product in hand.

You're one of the few who's getting the phone early, awesome
I'm not really all that confident in getting it early. I've had the phone sit at the shipping office for days in years past. But this is the absolute earliest I've gotten this type of movement in all the years I've been ordering.
