So Which Keyboard You Rocking?

I was loving the stock keyboard itself; until my room-mate showed me his Galaxy S2 with a swype kbd. I said "What..!! I don't have it...??" and installed the Swype beta. And loving it more than the stock. Being a first time swype user, it feels like magic. :p specially after getting all wrong speech input renderings from Google action. Like, after each swype, I expect the keyboard to throw a wrong word, but it gives me the correct word. And the ease of use is awesome.

So after reading this thread more, I started playing around with Swype more and I am starting to love it more and more over Swiftkey X. While Swiftkey is great, Swype has improved vastly since the last time that I remember using it!

I happily use swiftkey x when i'm using both hands but for one-handedness i'm finding the new Swype on ICS quite nice.

I do find that it's word predictions just aren't as good as swiftkey though so i get frustrated with it at times. If i'm just replying quickly to things i've probably got swype on, if i'm in the middle of a conversation on Talk or Messenger i'll switch back to swiftkey, especially if i'm using colloquiolisms (sp).

I have both Swype Beta and SwiftKeyX installed, I am currently testing the Swype beta and really like it, but I'll probably go back to SwiftKeyX, the learned, predictive feature is just to awesome, knows what I am going to say and I can type an email out so much faster with that.

Swiftkey X. I used the stock KB for a few weeks, and am back the Swiftkey. It's predictions make the difference. Sometimes I just have to type one letter in an entire sentence, the next word just appears again and again.

Rocking the Swype Beta. it's nice to have Swype back. Although for the car dock, I actually prefer the stock keyboard because the keys are easier to hit.

I now can't live without being able to swipe gestures for punctuation, capitalization, hiding the keyboard, turning on the keypad and copy/pasting. You can even swipe a smiley face :)

I am using the stock keyboard. Mostly because I love the real time voice typing. Once swiftkey can integrate that I may give it another go.

I had Swype on my HTC Evo Shift and was sad it wasn't on my GNex. I was using stock until the official Swype beta came out. Now I'm back to Swyping all day!!

Long press period. That gets you alot of punctuation. Not all of it, admittedly, but most of what you need.

Yeah i am aware of this, i'm not a big fan of that shortcut because it makes you hover your finger below your choice instead of over it, so i always press the wrong thing. I wonder if its supposed to be that way or if its a bug in the keyboard?

So after reading this thread, I downloaded swiftkey x and actually like it. For two finger use it seems faster than swype. I still like swype but I'm definitely going to be among with this a bit more.
