Soak test for Droid Maxx

Got it . . miss my blue icons but will get used to it . . home button still yields the "glitch" for me

I kind of miss the blue icons. I think it was easier to see than the white and also it just looked more classy. But that is just me.

I did the update, via XDA route, (thanks Moo Cow.) It is working perfectly for me. The presses was so simple to do.

Is there a way to get the battery percentage after the update?

No, the only app I knew that did this for KK, only uses white numbers. It still works though, but you can only see the percent, when your battery is low. So, I turned it off.

GSam Battery monitor has a plug-in that overlays a percentage onto the notification bar. I need to change my circle to white I guess.

I never knew that, about GSam Battery. I'm not a fan, of the overlay though. It looks nice, just not for me.

And you have to be rooted right?

I'm not a big fan of that style either. It should just be a large number. That little circle around it makes it harder to read. But I think its stupid that the phone doesn't have a native option to display the %. It obviously knows what it is. Why isn't there an option for it to tell us??? Dumb.

Installing my update right now. I didn't get the soak for some reason and figured if it was anything like last time it was only a few days after the soak went out before they pushed the real thing. So I decided not to go the XDA route.

No, you don't have to be rooted, for GSam battery to work with the overlay option.

I agree, there should be a native battery percent option. If CM, can put it in their ROMS, Google should be able to also. Just saying.

I wonder how hard it could have been to fix the share bug since this was a maintenance release. I love how Instagram is my permanant sharing option no matter what now.

When I check my settings for an update it says that I need a data connection to check and tells me to go turn on WiFi. I am already on WiFi and even tried it on LTE. Has anyone else seen this? Does anyone know how to fix it?

This also happened on my wife's MAXX. I currently don't have access to WiFi, I'll check later when I have WiFi.

Yep I am getting the same message... And no update yet for me. I didn't get this message yesterday it just said my device up to date.

I was getting that "Oops!" message as well. It took a few restarts for me to get to be able to update. Now that I am actually on 19.6.3.obake... I checked back again to test and am getting that message again. Don't know from which side the problem is coming from.

I had the same problem about an hour ago and then it eventually came through.

This was not occurring yesterday, or even earlier in the day today.

The last few days, it said my phone was up to date.

I think this might mean the update is pushing out but it's not completely ready to download yet. I wouldn't worry. I'm sure everyone who is getting this message will very shortly get the update.
