Soft bricked phone ODIN flash failing help!!

So I upgraded my Galaxy S5 from 4.4.2 kitkat to 5.0 lollipop. I then accidentally softbricked my phone by installing the wrong SDK for xposed. I've been trying to fix this and after finally downloading ODIN and the 4.4.2 G900A stock rom I begin to flash it. However, everytime I try to flash the stock rom it tells me it fails and in download mode it says 'SW REV CHECK FAIL : [ABOOT]FUSED 2 > BINARY 1 how can I fix this as I need to get my phone fixed soon!

If you flashed the stock AT&T stock firmware and bootloader for Android 5.0, you can no longer downgrade your firmware back to Android 4.4.2 or root it. To check your bootloader, install Phone INFO ★Samsung★, free from the Play Store, and check under the heading, "FIRMWARE", for bootloader details.

If you flashed the stock AT&T stock firmware and bootloader for Android 5.0, you can no longer downgrade your firmware back to Android 4.4.2 or root it. To check your bootloader, install Phone INFO ★Samsung★, free from the Play Store, and check under the heading, "FIRMWARE", for bootloader details.

I can't do that right now my phone is bricked. How do I fix this and undo the soft brick?

Try wiping your cache partition and see if it will boot after that.

How do I wipe my cache? Sorry for all the questions I'm a bit new to all this. But what if I can't get it to boot even after I wipe the cache partition. Could I re-partition this pit file.

EDIT: Okay I wiped the cache partition. It's still not booting what do I do?

I do not understand what you would hope to gain from re-partitioning! Do you?

Never, ever, mess with the .PIT files unless you are an experienced and competent user and even then, think twice, as you can brick your phone.

My feeling is that you may have inadvertently upgraded to the un-rootable Android 5.0 firmware and bootloader and all you can do now is to locate the stock Android 5.0 or 5.1.1 firmware and flash it via Odin and forget about rooting.

Okay do you know where I can find the stock 5.0 firmware that is not in format of just a zip? Because every copy of android 5.0 I've found has not been in a tar format. Where can I find one in a tar format?

Therein lies the problem with AT&T. As per #1.6 of 41 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide, AT&T firmware is not released by Samsung and is not available from the usual Samsung firmware sources such as Samsung Live and SamMobile. You will need to do a fairly exhaustive Google search to see if anyone has uploaded it with instructions on how to flash it.

As per instruction #2 of the link, you will need to extract the .tar file from the downloaded .zip file before you can flash it via Odin.

No I meant like the comments are saying inside the zip it is not a tar file. However, say there's not a TAR file what options do I have left? Also I noticed in your previous post you said you think I might have upgraded to an unrootable 5.0. This is not true though I upgraded to 5.0 with a deodexed rooted copy and I looked into root checker and it confirmed I have access the problem is I downloaded the wrong xposed sdk and flashed it which soft bricked me. But I've tried everything and I can't get it to unbrick! Would say using a custom recovery to flash the .zip of lollipop work?

So I just downloaded it and it's in fact not a tar its just like a zip rom. I oepened and there's no tar only some folders and mbn files.
