Soft Keys Not Working

Suddenly my soft keys stopped lighting up and responding. I tried a battery pull and several reboots to no avail. Does this mean that I will have to take it in to Sprint and use the insurance?

If so, I'll have to flash it back to stock, so I'll try wiping and reflashing the ROM first, but I can't imagine that the ROM would be the problem. Probably a hardware issue, right?

Sounds to be a hardware issue if flashing back to pure stock doesn't fix it. In that case I would just have a backup handy and bring the phone in without the sd so they can't give you any crap about being rooted based on anything from your sd.

I wiped it and they still don't work, so I guess i'll stop by Sprint tomorrow.

I took it in and they replaced the touch screen. No I just have to reload everything back.
