Soft Keys quit lighting up and don't work

So a couple days ago I went to close all of the apps I had open and noticed that the soft keys weren't lit up and when I press them there's no vibration and nothing happens, it's like they're not even there. Any ideas? I've read some other posts but I didn't see one on my specific device.

Welcome to Android Central! Does it work again after a reboot?

What are you using to close all apps -- the Recent Apps function, or some 3rd party app? It's generally inadvisable to habitually close apps out of RAM, because the system prefers to have RAM mostly full. The system will figure out which apps to close when it needs more RAM. With Android, "empty RAM is useless RAM."

I downloaded an app called "Galaxy Button Lights 2" to turn those lights off. Perhaps you can download the same app to use it to turn those lights back on.

PS I do not believe our Tab S2 can vibrate.
