SOLVED: Lock screen settings disappear (E970)

I recently picked up the AT&T variant of the Optimus G and I remember seeing settings to customize the lockscreen shortcuts and clock. Once I had the phone how I wanted, in terms of my contacts, apps, etc being synced, I went back to play around with the lock screen settings and they are no longer there. I've heard similar issues with other users. Any input?

Assuming that you have a secured lock screen, and a timeout for the lockout:
it's a bug, you have to disable the lock screen, then make the changes you need, then re-enable the lock screen.
