After upgrading to the S25 Ultra from the Note 20 Ultra, I notice there's no longer a microphone in the keyboard. I haven't been able to find it anywhere and was hoping someone has an easy fix that I just can't figure out.
Thx

Hi, If you're using the Samsung keyboard, check & see if it's in the lower left hand corner.

I know after Samsung changed it, it took me a while to find it. I just didn't notice it at the bottom. The pic is from my s24U. So unless they moved it again...

Nope, it's not there. One thing that changed when doing the upgrade was the messaging app, but I'd think the keyboard used in either app would determine whether the mic would show.

It's in the worst possible placement. First as you've discovered its hidden. Originally found it by accident. Next it's in the nav bar, well guess what, not everyone uses the nav bar. Lastly, it can't be moved.

Not sure who's making the decisions over there...

With the Gboard keyboard [ General management > Keyboard list and default > Default keyboard ] . . .

. . . my mic is up in the suggestion bar, above the keyboard . . .

Along with every other keyboard except the one I want to use. Slopsung might become a new moniker since they've been sloppy past few releases.

Since we're complaining about the Samsung keyboard here, I'd like to add my gripe and that is the way it refuses to put the keyboard toggle option beneath the keyboard itself.

Samsung makes you work to change the default by going into settings. I do like a lot of things about the Samsung keyboard, but it's just not a accurate (for me) as Gboard when it comes to glide typing, swiping, whatever we're calling it these days.
