Some apps won't work on some Wi-Fi

So when I try to connect to my school Wi-Fi only some apps will work like chrome and play store but kik will not work.. And I'm the only one that has this problem my friends are connected to the same Wi-Fi and kik works for them but not for me. It works okay when I'm on my Wi-Fi at my house. How can I fix this?
