Got mine today in Portland, Or. Went online and did the swap phone, used the activate button and had 3G within the hour. Odd thing was when doing the swap phone online it said I'd receive an email with activation instructions within the hour, never received. Seems much snappier than the OV. Hard to tell battery life since it's been used pretty heavy with set up and all. Thus far pretty happy.

yea its better all around than my evo and obviously the ov. same thing happened to me about the email and then all of a sudden my phones had swapped 3g access. i seem to be getting a better signal then i had on my ov, which was poor a lot of the time. i rooted it easily with gingerbreak 1.2

Got mine activated finally and up and running. Seems pretty snappy for year old technology. Don't have many apps running yet but seems to be staying up even when I add live wallpapers weather widgets, etc.

One thing I did notice was the camera app seems to be pretty terrible for a 5 MP camera. Colors seem washed out. Might need to play around with the color settings.

Another sad thing I noticed was the coverage isn't as decent as I had hoped. Couldn't even activate at my house and I live in a large city right on the edge of a major US city. Coverage at work seems to be ok at best. Do we know if Virgin is planning any network boosts to help the network?

This phone has to be better then the droid X. I had the droid x and it was good, but not as good. This phone blowes away the OV. Just wish they had accessories already for the phone. Just bought an HDMI cable from amazon, should be here wed. cant wait to see how that looks. went back to best buy but they didnt have the phone out anymore and even the tag was gone. wonder if they pulled them out of stock untill its release date. front facing camera could be better only vga. flush keys make it hard to wake up the phone, have to press the side power button. love the msg light hard to live without that on OV. battery isnt the best, have to say better then OV but still could be better. One thing the OV had is the free hot spot with quick settings.

Just got mine! Anyone in west virginia, if you want it a day early, head to the kanawha strip mall in charleston. The radioshack there has them out on the shelves.

Around $315 with tax. Checked out the best buy near me as well a few hours ago, i think the phone has been released all over here today anyways.

Paid 169.99 with 10% coupon and no DE sales tax. Anyone know if any developers plan on supporting this phone? Luckily its vanilla android so if not, it wont be the end of the world.

just went to bestbuy a hour after they open had one left. I get one on friday but it has a dead pixel so i justed the coupon and get it form 291 vs paying 323. So now i have two. have to take one back before my wife kills me. or maybe i should sell it. hmmm.

There is a link to a bestbuy 10% off coupon (I think it was in this thread actually). I used that. Also Delaware does not have sales tax.
