The corned beef and cabbage looks delicious.

It came out well. My first ever Corned Beef and Cabbage. I improvised with the Parsnips - I have to like those white "carrots!" The checkout lady said she had never had them and what were they like. Hard to explain as not really carrot-like but kind of sweet.

I know I'm old so I did not want folks getting the idea I had passed!

It is not the Tidal Basin




But speaking of the Tidal Basin I thought about Obama's recent photo bombing of a family photo which reminded me of another photo bombing event from about 50 years ago. I took the picture of the picture which my dad took. He was a professional wedding photographer and this scene unfolded outside of the wedding venue. Another President from another era. JFK in case the image is not clear enough




And I recently got an air fryer so behold...


The cauliflower was not too large but the one below had to be resized downward!
