It's as I have said in the topic, some of my ringtones show to be picked others do not. They are in the same folder and "sound picker" can see the folder but it can't see a few of the ringtones.

It's really odd as I had one of the ones as my ringtone since I got the phone but now cannot re-pick it. I believe it was set as my default when I transferred from my S7, since I didn't even know what sound picker was till about an hour ago. I just really want to know why I'd say a little less than half my ringtones in the same folder all .mp3s don't show and maybe how to fix it.

*Edit* I want to clarify that all of my ringtone are in the folder internal storage/ringtone and I can find this folder in the sound picker app as well. However only about half of the files are showing that are inside.

The folder name should be Ringtones
Try renaming and restart the phone
Also check the file names don't have odd characters or spaces

I misspoke, It is named Ringtones sorry it was late when I make this post. :)

I have 14 files in my ringtones now and only 6 are showing up, what do I do and why is this happening?

For anyone else who is having this problem I fixed it by moving it to my SD card, nothing else is different just moved it. So it was internal storage/ringtones and now it's
SD card/ringtones, I simply moved the file.

Thanks you lucianus_luciferus, I have no idea what was going on.

I'm going to try moving my ringtones as well. This has plagued me in all my Galaxy S phones. None of the ringtones show up in the Internal Storage/Ringtones folder, yet I have ringtones I've downloaded from Zedge (they're not in the Internal Storage/Zedge/ringtone folder either...0 items) :o Same for Wallpapers I've downloaded from Zedge. Just 1 item and I have several.

Well done. I have solved those issues by making sure the format is compatible as well.
