some ?'s about the droid 2.

just got droid 2 global for my wife. the earpiece seems to be very mumbly, gargly sounding. you can turn the volume down on it an helps some.

also homescreens are failry laggy. sometimes quicker than other times. today it took an update so i dont no if this will fix some issues.

im use the thunberbolt so i dont no if im spoiled with how my device works or if there is just something wrong with ther phone, i got it from wirefly if that means anything.

any help or advice is welcome.

the lag that you are mentioning is a continuous problem with Blur skinned phones. (Backflip, Devour, Dext, Droid X, Droid 2, Droid 2 Global, Droid Pro, Attrix,...) If you wanna change the homescreen to sometging like launcherpro (found in the market) you will likely see a vast improvment in UI lag. This also will allow you to customize almost every element of your Home UI. If you wanna keep the Blur look but just don't like the lag, you can try out "HeLauncher" (found in the market). It allows you to pick from Blur, Sense, Gingerbread, Froyo, and quite a few more all while removing much of those lag problems. HeLauncher doesn't offer near the cutomization of LauncherPro though, so i suggest trying them both out and just choosing the one you like more.

yeah, i was thinkin about replacing blur, iv always hated moto blur but the wife had to have a keyboard. i got adw on my bolt an love it, tho sense is still awsome to. but she is far from a tech person so im just tryin to keep it simple for her. prolly gonna setup some things tonight once i can get my hands on it again.

im just worried about the muffled sounds on earpiece.

Their has been some occuraces where people have mentioned what seems like a double sound. People are hearing themselves slightly after they say it. is that the issue that your wife is having? If not, i have a suggestion for you but it would have to be done by you and not your wife. Its a little more complicated.
