Android Central Question

It used to sleep when I closed the screen, like pretty much all notebooks.

Then I changed the battery...

Now something isn't letting that happen. If I forget turning it off by habit it drains the battery and it's dead by morning.

Otherwise it's exactly as before, same battery life as when the computer was new, etc..

I thought I could start a Linux process to monitor processes then the lid was closed but it looks like it only works within the virtual machine.

Doh!

Anyone have a clue?
