So I have got my phone rooted for about a week now...and I see under the application ROM Manager, when you click on 'Download ROM,' There are two options, 'Extras' and 'Google Apps,' and when you CLICK on 'Google Apps,' 4 Options pop up for you to download

a) 20110307 Universal (Recommended)
Subtitled 'March 7, 2011 for Android 2.3.3 (CM7 Nightly 11+, RC2-3, Stable)'

b) 20110120 Universal
Subtitled 'January 20,2011 for Andorid 2.3.2 (CM7 Nightly 0-10, RC1)'

c) (EOL) 20110115 Universal
Subtitled 'No longer supported. January 15, 2011 for Android 2.3.2'

d) (EOL) 20110114 Universal
Subtitled 'No longer supported. January 14, 2011 for Android 2.3.2'

The fact that they are on ROM Manager to download, do any of these work for Thunderbolt??? (please don't speculate...concrete answers only please, for the reason that flashing ROM that doesn't work for the device can have a serious consequences such as bricking)

These aren't ROMs. These are just the Google apps. You already have Google Apps on your phone (Market, Gmail, etc).

You don't need these. That said, it's unlikely they would work. Like they say, "For Android 2.3.3 (CM7 Nightly 11+, RC2-3, Stable)" ... You don't have Android 2.3.3 on your phone and you don't have CM7 on your phone. I remember trying to pull a single apk from an older version of Google Apps for CM to install on whatever random ROM I was working with at the time and for some reason it just crashed when I tried to open it... I'd speculate (oh, dirty word!) that the same would be true in this case.

So, seeing as you don't need it and it can only harm your phone (and it's likely to), I would offer a strong recommendation to not install them.
