Sony vs Logitech Picture Quality

Hi All,

Quick question, as luck would have it, I got the logitech revue from the web developer thing. Then tonight my boss got my co-worker and I both the sony blu-ray google tv boxes.

My question is this, will there be a difference in picture quality between the two boxes? Aka I'm debating which one to hook up for my self and which one to give to a family member.

I don't think so. Logitech addressed the picture quality bug in the October update. It seems transparent to me now. The Sony was always good. One thing to keep in mind is that the Sony only would output 2 channel sound with everything except bluray. Not sure of they have fixed that yet but I would check it out.

With that said, the revue is so much more flexible with controlling other devices that it was really the only choice after playing with both for a couple of weeks.

I'm fairly certain you won't see a big difference in picture quality.

If you need a Blu-Ray Player, I'd keep the Sony. But if you already have a different BRP, I'd keep the Revue.
